Are you
bored played Warcraft Reign of Chaos? With only some kind of boring
Soundtrack??
In this
moment, i shall show you how to give a ‘Music’
in warcraft editor.
Remember, it
only can be used in Warcraft III Reign of Chaos
Now, for
this Method, you need a World Map Editor, Music (mp3 format), and some
creativity.
Let’s
start!!
____________________________________________________________
STEP 1 Open
World Map Editor:
You can find
it in Warcraft III Folder. After open the folder.. Open this file:

Then Shall
opened Like this:

Step 2 Click
FILE>>Open
And the box
shall appeared... choose one of the map..

Wait for a
while, then the map shall be opened... For Now, we just use the basic one...
Region....
Click Region>> then Add some region:

In this
case.. let’s put it around the Mercenary Camp!!
So, when you
step on it, the music will begin.. sound good isn’t it?
Let’s see
this Picture!!

Now, the
Region is on... Remember the name......
Then Click Module>>>Trigger
_______________________________________________________________________
Then Right Click, New Category then New
Trigger if you want it in new folder, or New Trigger only if you want it in same folder. In this case, i
shall use New Category, then New Trigger.
Look the
Picture:

After That..
Right Click>> New Event>> then
the box shall appear. Change it.. to Unit-Unit
Enter Region
Look
Picture:

Now, Click the
‘Red text’ named REGION.
After
Opened, Change the variable, into your region, look at this picture:

After you
click Ok... then let’s continue to the next Step!!
Right Click
the Condition, then New Condition... it shall opened like
this:
The Picture describe it.. so just read there :p

After you
Click it... then the box appeared, isn’t?? Then click OK.
Now Close
the Boxes... then click Sound Editor
________________________________________________________________________
Then Click Import External Music, Look the Picture:
________________________________________________________________________
Then, Choose
one.. as you like..
In this
Case, i choose one of my Favorite song 'EXEC_METAFALICA' (Sorry if name of song make you confuse XD)... Then Click OK.
But Remember!! You can only import
music only from 1 folder!!... i recomend you to build new folder.. only for Warcraft Music (copy
the music, then put here). If you use the music from 2 or more folder... the
map will error.. and the message will: CONTAIN
‘=’. So don’t use music from 2 or more folder.!
Now, Just
Close the Box.. and continue to the next step.

Next Step,
Right Click on the Action, then New Action. The Box will appear.
Try to Find
This in the box... look the picture:

After you
click it... the Box Appeared... the one, with ‘Red Colored Text’ writed as MUSIC.
Then Choose
one of your Favorite-After-Imported-Music in Step before... the lists are on
there.. choose one.Look at the Picture:

Then Click
ok, and ok 1 more, until the boxes back to it's default (the one that contain 'Event','Condition',and 'Action'. Then Close the Boxes.
And for the
Final...
Save, Then
Play The Map... Have Fun!!!
Or you can
Test the Map first...

Oh yeah,
remember, the Music shall be played, once you enter the Region!!.
Before that.. the music can't be played. So, built it where you want it. Or, build it in Initialization. (This step shall be explained next time.. another time) :)
And..... At
